The Future of Work Is About Making Human Resources Human Again
The Future of Work is another way of thinking about how the next generation of Human Resources professionals will disrupt traditional HR practices to meet the wants and needs of both employees and organizations in the future. Who Can Apply to The Future of Work Scholarship?
The scholarship is open to all current college students who plan on majoring in an HR-related concentration and have an interest in becoming an HR professional after college. The scholarship is also open to college-bound high school seniors who will be attending college the following semester.
Application, Awards, and Scholarship Deadline
The Future of Work scholarship will be judged based on academic merit, as well as responses to essay questions based on the future of human resources. Applicants are required to answer one of the following essay questions:
- How will you use your degree/education in Human Resources to impact the industry in a positive way?
- What do you think is the most critical challenge in Human Resources today?
- How do companies need to evolve to meet the needs of their employees in the future?
PayScale will award a $2,000 scholarship award to two individual winners who submit the best applications. The deadline for applying to the Future of Work scholarship is May 30, 2017. Apply to the scholarship by visiting the PayScale scholarship page.
