Conservatives Want YOU to Go Without Healthcare

The Affordable Care Act is now law, and in spite of the various technical glitches, Americans have been signing up, so that they may enjoy access to healthcare when they get sick. For some people, this may be the first time they have ever had health insurance. Now, there is a push from conservatives to change the definition of the full-time work week to get employers who do not want to offer benefits off the hook.

Young Americans Can Make or Break Obamacare

A big part of the president's healthcare reform plan is to extend coverage to those who need it most – the old, the poor and the young. To make it affordable, the program relies on young, presumably healthy, adults to opt in. If they don't, they pay a fine. But what if they opt to get penalized instead of sign on up? What would that do to the Affordable Care Act?
