Chris leads Talent Acquisition for PayScale, where we are passionately bringing the dark art of compensation into the light. Over the past 4 years, he has led efforts to build a highly competitive and agile TA function from scratch, refined and scaled the company’s employment brand, reduced agency spend to $0, and hired over 500 employees in a land of tech giants. Chris believes that the key to creating a competitive advantage for PayScale in our tight talent market is to focus on building partnerships and alignment with our hiring teams, instead of the more traditional “customer service” approach. Prior to PayScale, he built and executed the sales recruiting function for Market Leader through multiple acquisitions (Trulia, Zillow).
