Directors of revenue management generally oversee sales and revenue to optimize efficiency and profits. The responsibilities for directors of revenue management vary greatly from organization to organization, partly due to the fact that company size has a large impact on responsibilities and demand. General duties may include planning budgets, developing strategies for growth, and mentoring employees on the sales force. Directors of revenue management are often required to analyze sales and revenue data, as well as make presentations to managers within their organization. They may need to coordinate strategies with other department as well.
