Cardiologists are physicians who perform duties related to the cardiovascular system. They are in charge of providing patient with high-quality service, listening to their symptoms, following up with tests as required, delivering diagnoses, and overseeing treatment. Some of their main responsibilities include reading test results, providing recommendations for surgery when needed, and conveying information on cardiovascular disease to patient and their families. Additionally, cardiologists perform pulmonary hypertension tests and cardiac biopsies as required. In all tasks, they follow strict safety and privacy protocols.
