A builder is responsible for building and/or repairing various structures – primarily businesses and residences. They are involved in the construction process for buildings and are responsible for carrying out various repair and maintenance duties as well. A builder works within a team, and they must understand the basic process for how a structure is created. A beginning builder usually carries out tasks such as preparing the building area, cleaning the area, assisting in delivering/distributing, and completing other tasks as required. A more experienced builder assists in creating blueprints, estimating budgets, sketching construction projects, and other tasks.
