Quality assurance coordinators may work closely with many other departments within the company. Often, they work closely with human resources to develop training and support for employees. They also may work with management to provide information for coaching and development. Upper management relies on their reporting to determine trending and forecasting. They may also work closely with the information technology (IT) team to report issues and define solutions that increase business effectiveness.
Most quality assurance coordinators are required to have a bachelor’s degree in a field related to their business' industry, as well as experience in the field and an extensive knowledge of the standards of the company.
