Job Description for Aesthetician/Esthetician

An aesthetician works in a spa or clinic to provide skin care services to clients. Some positions will require the aesthetician to have state aesthetician licensing prior to application. Some duties that the aesthetician will perform are applying facial masks, providing manicures and pedicures, applying makeup, and waxing. Laser therapy is also common and will require extra licensing and knowledge of laser operation.
