It is important for architects to stay on top of relevant technological advancements so they can continue to develop new software and/or hardware that meets or exceeds the expectations of the client.
These professionals typically need postsecondary education that includes courses in business management, computer science or engineering, design, database management, and mathematics. Typically, positions require at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and employers often may require a master’s degree.
