November 2018
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
FACT: CNA's pay rate usually stars at $14/hr. After working for near 10 years my salary went to $17/hr. I'm underpaid for my years of experience and so many others. Some managers are months behind when you are rightfully due for your annual increase of salary ( even though all you get is 25-35 cents increased). At this hospital CNA's get overload of patient assigned to their daily duties while getting underpaid for their hard work. You are better off working for another hospital affiliated with Union where employees rights are protected. Do NOT waste your time going to human resources!

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
I got paid well but my workload was astronomical and I didn’t have a voice. I had suggested things to management, talked with my coworkers, and even with the residents. Yet nothing was changed. My workload was so astronomically demanding that I was getting burnt out and ended up leaving because I wasn’t getting the help I was asking for. Don’t recommend working here as a CNA. Go where you’re valued.
