Bringing up children in Singapore.
Civil Engineer, Infrastructure in Singapore:
Pros: Singapore is a safe environment with good education standards in English medium with opportunities for in-depth learning of a second language. A wide range of extra-curricular activities is available. Medical care is excellent.
Cons: The cost of living is high and distance home great so when staying with a family only accept a high salary, with education support, insurance cover and, essentially, regular paid home leaves, otherwise you can loose touch with family and friends.
