Executive Assistant:
This is a position that you constantly put another hat on while doing another task, the ability to multi-task, see the big picture, pick up the slack, but still leave the staff do knuckle down and do there work when they need to. To be able to see the other's point of view, but still be firm with the bottom line. To be welcoming, but not a push-over. To be able to understand computer changes, data uploads, new terminology. To be always willing to learn or be left behind. To know when to speak up and put your ideas forward and when to sit back and listen to the big ones make up their minds. Travel is a perk, relationships are a perk.
