Job Description for First-Line Supervisor / Manager of Construction Trades and Extraction Workers

First-line supervisors/managers of construction trades and extraction workers oversee the work of relevant employees within their company. While at times this individual work alongside the other workers, the supervisor/manager is also responsible for a number of managerial tasks such as employee supervision, guidance, and scheduling. The manager/supervisor must ensure safety standards are followed at all times and provide discipline to employees as necessary. It is essential that managers/supervisors are able to assess the work of others and coach them toward improved output.
