Office Manager Reviews
What is it like working as an Office Manager?
November 2016
Office Administrator.
Office Manager:
Pros: I enjoy my job and was lucky enough to get offered the job before I actually applied. I do so much more than just answer phones and all other secretaries for this company don't do 1/3 of what I do at our franchise, from answering phones and preparing files to all the accounts payable and receivables, month end procedures, processing/receiving and returning automobile parts, employee payroll, complete circle of customer service. I basically deal with all office paper trail, it all goes through me.
Cons: I don't really have to much bad to say but if I had to say something I would prefer to work 9am till 4pm rather than 8am till 5pm.

Always smile and stay positive no matter how stressful it can be. We all work together for the same goal. Keep up with learning new office software, laws and certifications.

Office Manager:
Pros: I enjoy the lifelong learning experience that H&R Block provides. The company has the most appropriately trained professionals in the tax preparation field.
Cons: Seasonal employment is the cause of a high turn over rate.
