What is it like working as a Software Engineer?
September 2020
Can't complain.
Software Engineer in Portland:
Pros: I have no right to complain. My job is cool and flexible and I'm paid well. Environment feels a little cutthroat and culture is a bit robotic. I generally like the people I work with.
Cons: My job would be cooler if it involved more math. I'd like it if people were a little more personable and being treated a little more human would be nice.

Software Engineer in Dearborn:
Great work environment and a lot of potential to grow. Manager want you to learn and succeed. Only issue I have is the fact that some of the processes within the company feel old fashioned and outdated.
September 2020
Software Engineer in Plano:
Pros: Your work matters and you can see the impact it has when the client starts utilizing the custom software feature you created.
Cons: Negotiate a high salary before you start because you will only receive 2-4 percent pay increments every year beyond that and management will deny any request for a salary adjustment that is in line with current market rates for your position.

Great Company!
Software Engineer in Melbourne:
Pros: My coworkers are the best part of the job! Everyone laughs and works hard! We are good friends and all work together to get the job done successfully! Management listens to us and really does give us the power to make decisions and do the right thing the first time! I love it!
Cons: Some positions are only in-office positions which is stressful during the national pandemic, but they are trying to be as flexible as possible!
