November 2018
Sr. Software Engineer / Developer / Programmer:
There is a lot to be done in the way of streamlining how software artifacts are produced, maintained. In other words, software engineering principles need to be upheld a whole lot more than they currently are.
November 2018
Sr. Software Engineer / Developer / Programmer:
The leadership does not communicate effectively, so there is a lot of confusion at all levels of the company. Compensation was mediocre at best, but the benefits plan was the best I’ve had to date. The company used to have a fun and unique culture that struck a decent balance between turning out code, improving ourselves, and just hanging out with great people. Since there have been a couple round of layoffs and mixed signals from management about work expectations, the atmosphere has become more mechanical and shortsighted.
November 2018
Good because of the flourishing IT Industry.
Sr. Software Engineer / Developer / Programmer in Bucharest:
Pros: The fact that I'm able to easily communicate with colleagues because of the native spoken language.
Cons: The lack of opportunities to create products from scratch and the lack of global opportunities to get better at the domain we're working on (there's a cap on professional development).
