The job typically requires the trainee to meet with clients and determine both the needs and objectives of their investments. Trainees will be given guidelines to follow to ensure they are able to increase sales while staying in compliance with company regulations.
While the trainee job is somewhat autonomous, they still report to their direct supervisor to ensure they are following company guidelines and meeting necessary goals. They may occasionally work alongside other trainees, so teamwork skills can certainly contribute to success in this position.
