Job Description for Chemical Process Engineer

Today, the average home or workplace is filled with items and equipment made from thousands of constituent materials. Chemical process engineers are one of the driving forces behind the creation of many of these modern items. They assist in the research, planning, and implementation for new products through developing novel applications of techniques to turn raw materials into new kinds of materials. Through careful analysis, rigorous testing, and program design, they are involved in many types of industries, from manufacturing to healthcare to information technology.

Chemical process engineers must have several well-developed skill sets, such as strong aptitude in mathematics and science.
