A computer aided design, or CAD, designer's responsibilities revolve around taking blueprints and designs from engineers, and reformatting and representing them in a digital form. Rough product designs, building schematics, or additional product add-ons or modifications are examples of designs and documents that CAD designers are asked to reproduce on computers.
