They work with consumers as partners in developing their campaign strategies and must fully understand the appeal or use of a product or service. Specific duties for account planners may include analyzing data from market reports, implementing market research, and suggesting new avenues of advertising research. They may meet with clients and present market strategies to them, as well as monitor sales figures in response to advertising campaigns to optimize profits.
