Job Description for Arborist

An arborist is responsible for trimming, hedging, and removing trees within their area of supervision. These duties are performed through the use of hand-powered tools, electric-powered tools, and (often) with their bare hands. Arborists should ideally have a natural "green thumb" and strive to keep trees active, healthy, and thriving. They also plant trees and perform general landscaping duties. They take part in designing park and other venue layouts with planted trees.
