A bakery manager fulfills a variety of roles at a bakery, which may differ depending on the size of the establishment. Typically, the manager opens the shop and makes decisions about what to prepare for the day and how to prepare it. This person also checks all open orders for specialty items such as birthday, anniversary, and wedding cakes, and ensure they will be completed by deadline.
