Construction Estimator Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Construction Estimator?

Construction Estimator in High Wycombe:
"Great."
Pros: It is near my flat
Cons: Nothing

Construction Estimator in Manchester:
"Be Prepared To Be Behind Your Desk Most Of The Time."
Be prepared for the roller-coaster ride. Up the up when you receive the tender and the stress when it gets closer to the submission date. The hardest thing I have to deal with is a poor scope of works and or lack of design. I actually really enjoy the slog of the estimate, I.e. The take off, planning/methodology, agreeing outputs and the actual pricing exercise.
