Product managers for software are in charge of managing software products' development. They are responsible for facilitating communication among relevant internal personnel and relevant external parties, including with their organization's implementation and support teams to eliminate programming issues that may arise in different environments. Product managers for software also meet with prospect and current customer to make sure the software product meets their needs and listen to feedback that may be incorporated into future versions.
