Q: What is it like working as a Senior Accountant?
Over worked and under compensated and appreciated. The current management is more worried about taking care of new hires than tenured employees who's workloads have double or tripled and carry most of the company knowledge.
I like that the mission of the company is to help low income community.

Pros: I like that there are a variety of accounting tasks such as financial analysis, fixed assets, and month end close.
Cons: I don’t like that there isn’t much communicate between me, the coworkers and management.
Accounting is less about math and more about organization.
Pros: Process I work is good.
Cons: No bad.
Much Responsibility And Tight Deadlines.
Be prepared to work long hours. Not necessarily extra time, but mentally long hours. Sometimes I just need a break after working 3 hours. Others I can work 12 hours and be fine.
Pros: - Work schedule is flexible. - allowed to take extra unpaid vacation.
Cons: -long hours. -no overtime pay.....
Pros: Experience like none other. Ability to try new things. Head up projects. Flexible work schedule. Travel.
Cons: Stress. Long Hours. Working 1-2 weekends a month. Not enough pay.
