Job Description for Senior Manager Accountant

Senior management accountants are responsible for a wide range of day-to-day, quarterly, semiannual, and annual business-related tasks. These routine tasks include generating cash reports, sales tax calculations, budgeting, forecasting future needs, payroll, and fund consolidation. Others include investment reporting, asset accountability, bank reconciliation, processing accounts receivable/payable, and ordering supplies and inventory. These professionals also schedule and oversee staff performance, providing guidance and discipline as needed. This is generally a full time position that takes place in an office setting, although overtime may be required as deadlines approach. Additionally, coaching, mentoring, and handling other staff issues may require extended working hours.
