(around $58K) are the next top-paying cities. San Diego, Calif. ranks low on the pay scale — at about $57K, it is one of the lowest-paid cities. By state, DCI Engineers pays its Oregon employees the most; the pay rate there is around $66K per year.

Certifications and Degrees

Professional Engineer License Holders have significantly higher pay than non-accredited workers at $64K annually. On average, salaries rise to approximately $63K per year for accredited Certified Professional Engineers. At DCI Engineers, employees who hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Bachelor of Engineering (BEng / BE) receive the highest salaries at $65K.
