Environmental Scientist in Houston:
Pros: Interesting work and opportunity to be part of high profile projects. The people are generally competent and easy to work with. Global company so opportunities to work globally.
Cons: Pay is low and vacations are low. No real perks to working hard or overtime. Minimal praise for hardwork, but plenty of chastising for small mistakes.
Pathetic pay and it doesn't amtter if you work really hard and efficiently or simply do the bare minimum; hard work is not rewarded.
Department Administrator in Holland, Michigan:
Pros: Felxible with working weekends in order to make up for time off during the week
Cons: Low pay, do not feel appreciated, valued, or respected as a woman
