Tractor-Trailer Drivers rake in the most money, with average earnings of around $19.03 per hour; Customer Service Representatives come in second with average earnings amounting to $16.67, while Light or Delivery Services Truck Drivers and Accounts Receivable Specialists rank near the top as well (approximately $16.25 and $15.30, respectively). Shred-it hands out some of the smallest paychecks to Route Drivers (approximately $15.03 on average).

The highest-paying skill to have may be Customer Relations; employees who claim proficiency also report a higher average salary of $17.97 per hour. Customer Service is a popular skill in the Shred-it workforce; the greater part of those surveyed report putting it to use in their jobs. Safety Compliance, Microsoft Excel, and Accounts Receivable round out the set of key employee skills.


Shred-it's employees who answered the questionnaire are more likely to be male — the male-to-female ratio is more than 3 to 1.
