Assistant Campaign Manager, Non-Profit Organization Reviews

What is it like working as an Assistant Campaign Manager, Non-Profit Organization?

November 2014
Non-profit campaign experience.
Assistant Campaign Manager, Non-Profit Organization:
Pros: I like that I get to express my creativity through my work. I also like that the work I do every day is constantly changing - it keeps me on my toes and busy.
Cons: I feel that I have reached my maximum potential to grow in my company. There are scarce job openings in the management fields above my position. I also feel like I am very underpaid for a recent UNC graduate with student loans and frequently under appreciated.
April 2014
The Liaison Of 4 Different Organizations.
Assistant Campaign Manager, Non-Profit Organization:
Pros: No micromanagement, ability to make executive decisions, involvement in campaign strategy and execution, mentor-ship, leading projects, event planning and coordinating, being involved with 4 different arts organizations, meeting important community leaders.
Cons: Temporary contract, no clear career trajectory, having to be a one-woman organization, the tedious number crunching, grant writing and preparing.
