April 2016
Assistant Store Manager:
Pros: I've been there for so long I have a lot of regulars(customers). I like coming into work and seeing the smiles on my cashiers and customers when they see me. I like the hours because I drive my son to and from school so I get to close my store during the week.
Cons: What I like least is that the store I'm at is one of the biggest ones and when we don't make sales we have to cut employees and the first one to be cut is my floor help so that means not only am I doing my job I'm also wringing a register and cleaning the whole store plus putting every piece of merchandise back. I get pto and sick pay that I am hardly able to use because"it's not a good time" and it gets taken and I punch out for a unpaid 30 min break but don't actually take it I'm usually being called to wring on a register because there's a line.
