Barback Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Barback?

Barback in Fernandina Beach:
"Too Much for Too Little."
Pros: The people I work with have quickly become my friends, and are always willing to help me if they can.
Cons: The title says it all. For all that is required of me, I get paid far too little. Tipouts are a mandatory 3% of all alcohol sales, and I always receive the bare minimum. On a busy night I may make $100 for tending to 3 bars, while a bartender may make $250.
