Behavior analysts teach support professionals, teachers, and parents how to implement behavior support plans, skills, and procedures. They instruct others on how to collect data and create a therapeutic environment. They write reports and curricula, as well as implement plans to better teach support programs. Additionally, the behavior analyst must stay aware of new training and teaching techniques, as well as how clients can implement those techniques. It is important that they work well with a team, as they will be working closely with psychologists as well as other specialists and analysts. Excellent problem-solving skills are a must; working with clients to resolve learning problems and develop new plans are essential to the behavior analyst's and client’s success.
