Pros: What I enjoy most is assisting people with establishing their lives and becoming productive citizens of society.
Cons: I do not like the way management interferes with a process and not have all the facts.

CPSS's Are Crucial In Case Management And Overall Recovery.
Certified Peer Support Specialist:
Pros: Assisting individuals on thier road to recovery while living with/managing their chronic symptoms associated with mental/physical illnesses/disabilities.
Sharing my life with them and encouraging them that recovery is possible.
Cons: CPSS's are not integrated into case management properly. Management has completely failed to utilize Certified Peer Support Specialists in the recovery model of the individuals MCCMH serves.
