Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Joplin:
Pros: Working in Joplin will always be a great experience for my family. I feel any opportunities I can see to help make Joplin grow into a better home town, I will always give my hardest efforts to. I enjoy becoming a more knowledgeable Pharmacy Technican, as our area are behind on our career based inpatient pharmacy technicans through our local hospital.
Cons: Our pay is based off of Hospital Competition. Which in result gives your local public hospital pharmacy techs very low pay and pay raises for making your STAT I.V's for the Nursing staff of NICU and ER. If this changed we would be more capable of keeping a great team. At this point in time 8/30/2017, our entire city has underpaid and overworked pharmacy workers. I want the best for my community and I am working on writing a Bill to help keep 16 year olds out of the pharmacy compounding, as many states are unregulated when it comes to Pharmacy Technicians.
