Learn everything you can about every part of the business and be pushy in getting to learn as mush as possible in each job. You build a skill set, create a bigger network of colleagues, and become a better rounded employee.

Surround yourself with good engineers. There is a reason experience is a requirement to licensure.

"Learn from everybody."
Learn as much as you can from people who have been working in the field for a while. Not just other engineers or executives, but technicians, secretaries, maintenance techs, laboratory assistants, customers. Everybody who will talk to you.

Design Engineer in Oak Creek:
"The PCB Manufacturing Is A Very Unstable Industry."
Highly stressful environment due to unstable sales and production levels. Do not recommend working for a company that is owned by it's own Management or privately held. Highly recommend researching company history for salaried employees and hiring/layoff trends.
