What Do Doormen Do?
A doorman works at a hotel, apartment, or a retailer and greets customers as they enter the building. The more politically correct term for doorman is door supervisor. When working in a hotel or a residence, a door supervisor will be expected to carry luggage and other items to rooms, in order to assist guests.
