Educator Reviews

Q: What is it like working in New York?

Educator in New York:
"Making it work."
Pros: Living in New York
Cons: It’s exhausting

Educator in Carson City:
"Teach because you love it not to get rich."
I would advise anyone getting into education to stop thinking you'll get rich or that you'll not have lots of stress in your job. Remember you'll be challenged and you'll not get along with all ever teacher or admin.

Educator in Weslaco:
"How much paperwork it would entail in an education job."
Be sure to plan your time accordingly, your job may entail additional responsibilities that does not include actual teaching. The plus is, you spend more time learning about your students when you help out in clubs and organizations. Paperwork is essential for documentation purposes but you need to set time apart for that and do outside of class in order to teach well and keep your students engaged and on task when you are teaching.

Educator in Summit:
"Experience as an Educator."
Pros: Generously paid for retail environment.
Cons: Lots of requirements and feedback to maintain role. Growth opportunity needs to personal initiative; if you perform/excel in your role, no one will promote you unless you speak up.
