Executive Officer Reviews

Q: What is it like working as an Executive Officer?

Executive Officer in Mountain View:
"Managing senior leaders through influence."
Pros: Engaging content and an innovative atmosphere make my work rewarding. Leading others through influence as opposed to position is challenging and not always successful but it does provide for opportunities to seek new ways of doing things. The opportunity to learn new content and to be constantly exposed to new research and engineering is extremely interesting.
Cons: Government processes can be redundant and frustrating. Dealing with a large, heavily tracked organizational structure is often counter-productive and wasteful.
