Working in Kansas City is great.
Graphic Designer in Kansas City:
Pros: The cost of living is low, so paying bills and having fun is very feasible. There is a great culture in KC. The locals are lovely, as are the many transplants. The creative scene is robust and lively.
Cons: Public transportation isn't that great, though I guess the city is working on it with the streetcar. Biking is risky because there aren't many bike lanes - and motorists aren't used to cyclists. Everything is very spread out, so you have to drive to get anywhere.

Pros: great city, with lots of potential
Cons: feels like home, feels like there's a bright future
