A group home supervisor directs, plans and supervises residents of a group home or assisted living facility. These supervisors normally manage direct care workers and assistant home managers, as well as oversee the activities and operations of the facility according to its rules, policies and regulations. Duties of group home supervisors include coordinating and leading staff meetings, overseeing resident funds, managing group home budgets and maintaining resident schedules.
