Job Description for Hand Therapist

A hand therapist is an occupational or physical therapist who specializes in working with patients who have experienced issues or injuries with either or both hands. Our hands are complex structures that we use often without consciously thinking of them, but an injury or condition to them can greatly impact a person's quality of life. Hand therapists work with persons experiencing these issues to help them regain as much normal and pain-free use of the hands as possible.
