Job Description for Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Licensed clinical professional counselors supervise clinical staff at every level of a hospital or clinic. They must research, develop, and implement practices that will lead to improvements in staff performance, as well as ensure that all staff documentation meets standards. These professionals are also in charge of coaching and training program staff and providing technical assistance to supervisors and other personnel. Licensed clinical professional counselors usually work with all members of the medical facility, and they may potentially work with outside mental health professionals. These counselors generally work full time in a medical facility; they often work during regular business hours, but 12-hour shifts may be available at hospitals.

Akron /ˈækrən/ is the fifth-largest city in the U.S. state of Ohio and is the county seat of Summit County, the fourth most populous county in the state.
