Dementia.
Licensed Registered Occupational Therapist:
I would encourage them to learn dementia behavior management. Dementia will be your future if you work in geriatrics. Behavior management makes a difference by understanding what escalates a dementia patient and what de-escalates a dementia patient. You may save yourself a lot of grief, not to mention helping nrsg understand the same thing.
