Q: What is it like working as an Occupational Therapist (OT)?

Occupational Therapist (OT):
Micromanagement of productivity, time consuming documentation system, understaffed. Staff work well together as a team. Very limited supplies available to assist patients with increasing independence. Nice benefits, no weekends.

Occupational Therapist (OT):
Working for EnduraCare has been great so far as far as the benefits and the people I work alongside. I do wish employees received a better raise - more than just a 1% merit raise annually. This is the first company I have worked for so I don’t have much to compare them to.

PROS: Great pay, flexible start/ end times, nice to be able to move around. CONS: high expectations at times, good benefits disorganized communication at times, nursing staff in facilities can be rude.

Cons: The demand and productivity we have to meet

Pros: We have moderate weather, and many sporting/theater options for entertainment.
