Product safety engineers may be tasked with overseeing deadlines for products and ensuring that they are met, and when safety discrepancies are identified, they must provide clients with detailed reports on the deficiencies and the necessary steps to correct the errors. Close attention to detail is important in this position, and they must also be able to analyze large amounts of information in an efficient manner.
A bachelor's degree and least three years of experience in the field are generally required for this position, and applicants should also have a background in computers and be able to work with a variety of computer systems.
