Project Engineer Reviews

What is it like working as a Project Engineer?

November 2016
Energetic working environment.
Project Engineer:
Pros: There is a unique culture here. Helpful people, fun atmosphere, casual attire. We all work as a part of the team, not for individual goals. Low stress, fantastic flexibility, and a good sense of satisfaction.
Cons: Sometimes it feels like new hires are very underqualified.
October 2016
Project management and set up.
Project Engineer:
Pros: Getting the goal achieved by gathering a team and working as one.
Cons: The bunch of approval signatures taken to release purchase orders.
September 2016
PE summary.
Project Engineer:
Learn as much as you can.
September 2016
Project Engineer:
Pros: Company give us space to work freely.
Cons: Nothing.
August 2016
Project Engineer:
Pros: I like the type of work I do with satellite engines.
Cons: I dislike the tools we are given.
August 2016
Alright atmosphere.
Project Engineer:
Pros: They keep you busy with work which I like. Before they weren't because they could see I didn't have confidence in myself. Helpful at times. Friendly.
Cons: No health benefits because I had said that I had health insurance. Must work one year before vacation time. I feel like I'm getting a raw deal.
August 2016
Good company, a little behind in technology.
Project Engineer:
Pros: Flexible responsibilities and hours if needed. Great people to work with. Direct management is easy going. Ability to work on various projects at my own choice.
Cons: The company is a little behind with document management software. I am encouraging that they invest into better software. They are also lacking on benefits. Their health/dental insurance coverage is poor(good is you are in NY but not outside of that), there is no 401k matching, minimal profit sharing, pay is below other companies (though made up with by good onsite management).
