Registered Nurse (RN) Reviews
What is it like working as a Registered Nurse (RN)?
August 2019
Our School Nurses are greatly appreciated but the pay is way below average.
Registered Nurse (RN) in Tacoma:
Pros: working with the kids
Cons: the tools we use to keep our information are antiquated and require more time due to the lack of technology and programs geared for a medical office.

I enjoy good coworkers and have a reasonable but hectic work pace.
Registered Nurse (RN) in Richmond:
Pros: I enjoy teaching and helping people get better from physical ailments.
Cons: I feel like a cog in a massive machine that does not care about individuals

Registered Nurse (RN) in San Francisco:
Pluses: it's a great place to learn and they pay you well.
Minuses: where I work there's a distinct hierarchy & class system with MDs at the top and nurses at rock bottom. Learning is encouraged, but stating what we've learned is "uppity." Expect to be a punching bag when things aren't going well. Expect to be overworked. CYA meticulously. Keep your head down and try to get through it. Not sure if this is true on every unit.

I love being a THR CSO RN.
Registered Nurse (RN) in Fort Worth:
Pros: The pay is very nice and shift flexibility. I can usually pick out the days/nights I want to work.
Cons: Being a CSO RN, you get floated to different hospitals, so you may be unfamiliar with your surroundings and physicians.
