Registered Nurse (RN) in Clarens free state:
Pros: Clarens is about 40km from the nearest hospital. That leaves us to help both locals and visitors in distress until emergency services arrives. We get to do a little bit of everything from going out to accidents and fires to palliative care. Work never gets boring.
Cons: Because Clarens is a small, close knit community everybody knows everybody. We also have a large number of elderly residents. It is very difficult if we lose someone because they become like family.
