November 2018
Registered Nurse (RN):
Steady work, large company, fair benefits, high deductible health care, market driven pay, very marginal salary increases if applicable. Communication at great need of improvement. A closer working relation between high management to middle can greatly enhance employee performance throughout.
November 2018
New Mexico is a right to work state so unions are not approved or supported in my organization. Patient ratios have exceeded the six patient limit on several occasions and staff have been floated to other floor leaving are floor understaffed.
Registered Nurse (RN) in Albuquerque:
Pros: Albuquerque has become very interesting over the last couple of years. The film industry has made our community more Metropolitan. I enjoy the atmosphere of the Route 66 Neon architecture and the Pueblo Style of Santa Fe and Taos. I feel that people are not segregated by culture. New Mexico Fosters cultural identity and celebrates diversity in the community. The traffic is easy to navigate and we experience all four seasons without going to extremes of hot or cold.
Cons: New Mexico is a right-to-work state. We do not have a a majority interest in a nurses Union. Nurses Sear lose their positions if they show interest in participating in the Union.
November 2018
Close to home.
Registered Nurse (RN) in Calhoun:

Cons: administration and school board undervalue my experience and knowledge with the low salary scale I am receiving. I am also a national certified school nurse.
November 2018
